Lisunovo, Alexandrov region. The Musatov’s Museum
Серова Дарья, 6 класс Учитель английского языка Сибирина Елена Рудольфовна МБОУ СОШ №1 с углубленным изучением английского языка Александровского района Владимирской области The history of my birthplace is closely connected with Russian culture. In 1911 a son Alexei was born to Ivan Musatov, a peasant of the village Lisunovo (Alexandrov region). The boy was very interested in literature and teaching. After school Alexei entered a teacher training college in Zagorsk and then worked at school in his native place. But some years later he became a famous children’s writer.
He wrote a lot of books for children and about children. "A House on the Mountain”, "Klava Nazarova”, "Bird Cherry” are the most popular ones. In 1989 the Alexei Musatov’s museum was opened in his native village Lizunovo. It is situated in the house where the writer was born and spent his childhood. Visiting the museum you have a chance to look through his books which were published during his lifetime, to sit at the table where he worked, to meet interesting people who will tell you about Musatov’s life and even to drink very tasty milk or taste cottage cheese.
I hope you will like our museum! Welcome!
