Essay
My family, my sport, my town.
What does a birthplace mean for every person?
A birthplace means the land on which a person grew up.
He or she was born on this land. Such people help to take care of their own
land. These people are tied to the land on which they grew up. These people are
proud of the history of their birthplace. The history of my home town is very
interesting. Alexandrovskaya Sloboda got the official status of a town in 1778.
The first mention of the town dates back to the 15
century.Alexandrovskaya Sloboda
(the former name of the settlement) acted as the
capital of Russia for 17 years (1564-1581) under Tsar Ivan the Terrible.
Now Alexandrovskaya Sloboda is the name of the museum.
People from all other the country visit Alexandrovskaya Sloboda. My town is
included in the Golden Ring. My town continues developing gradually. New
districts are being built now. The urban area has increased a lot. Along with
this the population has also grown up immensely. People unite according to
their interest and hobbies. They make new friends.
A birthplace means the family and friends. It does not
matter where you are. The family is not only blood relations.Your family also
means the people that have the same interests and much in common. For these
people friends are like family.
I do not have a precise definition of a birthplace. I
think my birthplace is my town and close to my family. I have got two families.
The first one consists of my parents. My mother and father have granted me life.
My mam and dad always help me. I thinkthat my parents are a piece of my heart.
The second one is the sports club where I go to. It is my "sport family”. My
"sport family” consists of nine "sisters” and four "brothers”. My "sport family” and I always help and
support each other. "Sport family” is a piece of my heart, too. I think that my
birthplace stays with me when I am at a competition. My parents, my "sport family»,
my home town always remain in my heart and my soul. So for me a birthplace is
something precious that captures part of your being. In my opinion a birthplace
is something you can’t live without and that stands vividly in your memory
during all your life.
