I Love My
Birthplace
It is good to be visiting,
But it is better at home.
My name is Svetlana. My surname is
Shamshurina. I am eleven years old. I am in the fifth form. I was born
on the most splendid holiday - the 9-th of May, Victory Day.
Vladimir is my birthplace and I like it. I admire its old streets,
churches, and majestic cathedrals, emerald green parks in summer and snowy
clothes on the trees and houses in winter.
I think that Vladimir is the most beautiful town.
My father, my mother and all my
friends and classmates live in Vladimir. Here is my native school number 33. I learnt to read and write, counter and draw in
it.
Vladimir
is beautiful in all
seasons. The nature is wonderful
in Vladimir and all
its suburbs. I prefer to spend my free
time in the
open air with my
friends, making up a picnic. In June I like to watch backs and
bellies of baby fishes, sparkling in the sun, in the Klyazma River. Every
winter my friends and I enjoy skiing, playing snowballs, making big snowmen and
toboggan in the Country Park.
In the settlement Zaklyazmensky there is a
stable, where I ride a horse twice a week. It`s my hobby. I love horses. They
are beautiful and kind animals. It`s wonderful to ride a horse at full speed.
So,
I love my town very much because it is my native town. I`ve spent my childhood
here. I`d like to travel all over the world, but I am sure there is no other town like Vladimir. It is my birthplace.
