The composition written by Zaitsev
Dmitri Form 9A school 37 Vladimir «I
love my birthplace»
It’s
winter now. Winter is the coldest season of the year but is the most beautiful
for me. Winter is the most suitable time for memories about me and my beloved
birthplace. I have many memories and I would like to share them with you.
I
am the inhabitant of an ordinary small town situated in the territory of Russia
that is of no difference from other Russian towns. My native town is called Vladimir and I have many
stories related to it. This town has brought me up as a father and has given me
the things that no mother can give. This town has taught me the way of life and
showed me that there is no place for a weak man in this world.
I
like to ride a bicycle around the town and know every single corner there. But
my most favourite place was and is a bank of the river that is not as beautiful
as the Yenisei but is the dearest and the most
beloved by me. This river is called the Klyazma. It flows through my native
small town, and goes farther on the territory
of Vladimir region. In
some places the Klyazma even borders our region from the others. There are many
stories which me about this small river. I observed the beautiful scenery of Vladimir from the bank of
the Klyazma and enjoyed the magnificence of the sunset. Unfortunately, winters
in Russia
are very long and next time I will manage to go to the bank of my native small
river only in the summer.
The
nature of my birthplace in each season is beautiful in its own way. In the
beginning of spring snow starts to thaw, streams murmur, the trees are in full
bud, birds come from far-away countries. The nature wakes up from a winter
sleep. In the middle of spring it becomes warmer, everything around turns
green, flowers start to bloom. The long-awaited summer comes after a while. In
summer the nature awards us with berries, fruit and vegetables. You can enjoy
the bright colours of the nature while sitting on the bank of the river and
looking at the blinks of the sun in the water. It is great to run barefooted on
a summer gentle grass and walk under a warm summer rain. After summer there
comes autumn. In autumn the rain spills on the earth knocking on the window,
the forest seems to be covered with a yellow flame because of the yellow leaves
of aspen and birch and green spots of pines and fur-trees. In autumn you can
admire falling leaves sitting in an avenue of park "Druzhba" and
walking around the park with the leaves rustling underfoot. Then the snow-white
winter comes. It is great to sit in the park and look at the white snowflakes
covering the paths, trees and bushes. And in a short time the earth is covered
with a pure white carpet of snow. Winter makes us to await a miracle ahead of
the New Years Eve. So the nature of my native land is splendid all year round.
I have a place that is as important for me as my
native town. It is a small cozy house of my grandmother in the countryside. I can’t help admiring it because
here I got such qualities as courage and persistence. When I get there I feel
as if I transfer to another world. Everything changes and the time slows down.
There you can hear the bug or a worm moving in the grass, the loud sounds of
the gnat. The sounds of
nature make you completely relaxed. In the evening it is possible to sit on a
soft sofa and observe an indescribably beautiful sunset. At the same time you
can see how the night flowers are opening and night inhabitants wake up. After
a sunset I like to ride a bicycle along small streets that seem to be endless
in the twilight. At one of such trips I got into lowland and saw an
indescribable show. The fog was slowly covering the earth inch by inch. And
when I wanted to get into the fog it suddenly disappeared and then appeared again.
I believe that when you manage to see all of the beautiful view of the nature
at once you are the happiest man in the whole world.
My birthplace is my treasure and I am proud of it.
