I am Max Gavrilov. I am 10 years old. I want to tell you a few words about my family.

I think that a family is a very important for everybody. A family is the people that always love you, support you and help you. It is impossible for me to live without my family. My family is not large. I have got a mother, a father and a sister . There are four of us in the family. We also have grandparents and a lot of relatives: uncles, aunts, cousins. I live with my mum, dad and my sister. We have a small flat. There are three beds, computer on the desk, a lot of books on the shelf, a wardrobe and sofa.

At first I’d like to say a few words about my parents. My parents married for 12 years. They have a lot in common. My mother is a good-looking woman with brown hair. She is forty but she looks much younger. She is a kindergartener. She likes her job very much. My mother keeps the house and takes care of my father and us. She is very good at cooking. She always cooks very delicious meals. Our mother is very kind, but sometimes he is strict to us. She always checks if our homework is done. Mother takes care of our free time, so we are not able to waste our time.

My father is an electrician. He is thirty-nine. He is a tall and well-built man with short black hair and green eyes. He is a professional. He likes his work and spends most of his time there. My father does his work very well and gets good money. He is also handy with many things. He can fix almost everything. My parents have a lot in common, but they have different views on music, books, and films. For example my father likes films about the war and my mother likes adventure films and love story. My father is fond of motorcycles and books. My mother likes to play  tennis. My parents work a lot.

My older sister  Ira is a student of the college. She has brown eyes and brown hair. She wants to become a psychologist or a writer. Besides she is playing tennis like our mother. She studies well. She likes to play computergames , draw, write stories and poems. Sometimes I walk with my sister and her friends.

My grandmother and my grandfather are pensioners. They live in the village. Sometimes our granny helps us about the house. She is fond of knitting. My grandfather is a military man and he reads a lot! The library that we have in our flat is the tenth part of all the books that granddad has at his place. In summer I and my family visit them in the village. My grandparents have a large and beautiful house. The river flows near the house. I like to swim in the river. In the evening I help my grandmother in the garden. My cousins visit my grandparents and I like to play football with them.

I have three cats. One large and two small ones.Vasya likes to sleep. He is very lazy. He lives in our family for 8 years. Kittens are very noisy and unruly. They live with us 4 months. Tim likes to look in the mirror and play with the ball. Kuzma likes to run around the apartment. Kittens like to eat. I care about them.

As for me, I’d like to become a motorcyclist. I want to learn to ride a motorcycle and my dad can teach me this.

Our family is very united. We like to spend time together. Everyone in our family is rather busy, but we are always very happy if we have a possibility to spend some time together. In the evenings we watch TV, read books and newspapers, listen to music or just talk about the events of the day. Our parents don’t always agree with what we say, but they listen to our opinion. My family means a lot for me. Every week we also go shopping and buy fruits, tasty food and, of course, а toy for me. We love to travel and want to visit other countries. My sister wants to go to Japan, but my parents want to visit the tropical countries. I hope our dream will come true.

My parents are the best! We are happy when we are together.
