Hello, my name is Dima. I am thirteen. I was born in Yuriev-Polsky. I have parents, a brother and a sister. I am the eldest child in my family. I would like to tell you more about my father.

My father ҆s name is Torgov Vladimir Sergeevich. He is thirty three. He was born in Vladimir. When my father went to school, there was a very beautiful girl in his class. Her name was Marina.(Many years later she became my mother). They loved each other very much. They finished school and married after that. In 1998 I was born in the family.

         Once bishop Herman came to Yuriev-Polsky. He invited my father to serve in a church in Yakutsk.

         In 2000 we went to Yakutsk. On the 21-st of  July Roma, my brother, was born. Sometime later my dad opened a Sunday school. The children loved and respected my father very much.

         Time passed very quickly. In 2005 I went to school. On the 19-th of June in 2006 my little sister Yulya was born. There were five members in our family and it was not convenient to live together in a small flat. My father wanted to solve that problem. So in 2007, when Roma went to school, we all moved to Vladimir in autumn, though it was rather difficult for my father to leave Yakutsk.

         When we came to Vladimir, Roma and I started to go to school № 33.Myfather began to serve in the nunnery of Birth of Virgin Mary. Here he taught children at the Sunday school too. Father Vladimir visited many holy places together with the children from the Sunday school. On Christmas and Easter we with the pupils of the Sunday school visit orphanages and old people ҆s homes.

         In 2010 my father became a priest and they chose him to be the director of the Chanter College. Now my father studies at the St. Petersburg Ecclesiological Academy.

         My father is an amazing person. He has visited many interesting places. He has been to Italy, Rome, Jerusalem and many other holy cities. You could see him on TV many times. Journalists often interviewed him. My father is also very talented. He plays the guitar and the piano, he has written many songs, he is very good at talking with people.

I love my father very much and I am very proud of him!
