I love my birthplace.
What do you imagine when you hear such words as birthplace or
motherland? Someone imagine a continent or a country or just a village. As for
me, when I hear such words as birthplace or motherland or such question as
where is your motherland I think about my native city Vladimir.
To
tell the truth, I was born in Murmansk.
Murmansk is a
small city in the north of our country. My family and I left this city when I
was a child. I spent my conscious life in Vladimir.
That is why, I believe that my motherland is
Vladimir and I can say with a complete confidence that I love my motherland
Vladimir. I’d like to tell you why my love to Vladimir is so great.
Firstly, I love Vladimir
because I know all places of this town. I have places where I can rest with my
soul, for example in the park not far from my house. I go to this park to take
some beautiful pictures, to read books on the bench or to run early in the
morning. These moments are unforgettable.
Secondly, Vladimir
has rich history. Many famous personalities were born here. As an argument I
can say that my school has the name of the hero of the Great Patriotic War.
Everybody knows his name. His name is Sergey Dmitrievich Vasilisin. I am very
proud of this fact.
Thirdly, I think that motherland is a place
where your family and friends live. All my relatives and friends live in Vladimir.
In
conclusion, I should say that motherland is not always the place where you were
born. To my mind, motherland is the place where your heart is. Дарья ОРЕХОВА, 11Б,МБОУ СОШ №31, Владимир
