«Russia is our
great power, Russia is our sacred country,» - these lines of the anthem are
filled with love and pride of our Fatherland. Russia, Russia is the mother … We
should know history of our country, because all the person without the past –
as a tree without roots. There are agreat martyrs for belief Christian, simple
and at the same time mighty athletes of the earth Russian. There are wise
sovereigns: Vladimir KrasnoeSolnyshko, which has given to our ancestors Christian
belief, Alexander Nevsky who has protected the native earth from the Swedish
and German aggressors, Peter I Veliky, the first Russian emperor, «opened a
window to Europe». A Theirtroubles and sorrow, a victory and defeat are our
memory. Their destinies are our history. History which it is necessary to
admire!.
If anybody asks me If I love my country, I will answer that I love it very much. But if I`m asked why I love Russia, I will not be able to answer at once.
May be I love it for its large fields, thick forests, clear lakes and rapid rivers or may be for its people, who have made our country famous and respected in the world. I think, I love Russia not only because of all these facts, but also because my parents, relatives and friends live here.
I often hear that person will never forget place where
he was born. Your native land, place where you spent your childhood always is
in your hard. Everybody will say it about his motherland.
My motherland is a fascinating country called Krasnoe
Echo. It is in the centre of national park Meschera. There is a charming
nature, beautiful river, huge forest in this country. Good-natured people live
and work here. I can say this place is a pearl which decorates our region. I
was born in this place and I love it very much(with all my hart). All my life
is bond with my motherland.
Motherland. What do I mean when I
pronounce this word? For some people it is the country where they were born,
for others it is the city, the town or the village. For the third it is the
family that we associate with motherland. Personally for me, motherland is my
home town. Moreover, it is my school.
I have spent my first years of the
life in the town of Lakinsk.
I have lived there for ten years. But unfortunately, Lakinsk is rather small
town, not rich in places of interest and some specific town peculiarities.
Hello, my name is Dima. The matter is,Vladimir is not my
birthplace. I came to live here just a year ago. It’s not a long period of time
but quite enough for me to have made friends with the town. Being a newcomer in
Vladimir, I’m
much impressed by its beauty and appearance. Walking over the town and watching
the passers-by is a source of education and pleasure for me. Live and learn!
I live in Vladimir since I was born and so I can
consider it as my small birthplace. It generates some pride in my mind for that
I live here, in the heart of ancient and modern Russia, among the memorials of
Russian history and such fine people.
I was born in the town of Vladimir and I live here. It
is home of my parents, my friends and relatives. My town has a very rich history. Vladimir
was founded in 990 by the Duke Vladimir the Red Sun, but the other documents
say that it was founded in 1108 by Vladimir Monomakh.
Andrey Bogolyubsky is another outstanding person
who made Vladimir the capital of Russia in 1157. The legend says that he
had a dream in which the Holy Virgin pointed Andrey Bogolyubsky on the place
where he should build the church. So he moved the capital of Russia from
Kiev to Vladimir. He began the construction of white-stone monuments in my
town. These magnificent monuments people admire nowadays. People from
different countries come to Vladimir and enjoy them.
Every
person’s life is closely connected with his family, his roots and his
motherland. Nothing on the Earth can be closer, dearer than the native land.
Each person has his own homeland. For some people it's a big city, for others -
a small village.
