My name is Beata. I was born and live in Russia. I love my country and want to tell you about it.

Russia is the largest country in the world. It is powerful and strong. Russia has the endless areas of forests and fields, a lot of beautiful lakes and rivers. A lot of famous writers, poets and artists were born and created in Russia. Everyone knows the names of Pushkin, Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Levitan, Repin and others.

Everyone has his own «Small  motherland.» It is the dearest place for mans heart. For me the village of Necludovo is such a place. It is situated in Gus- Krustalnij region. I  was  born  here 11 years ago. I love this place because my parents. Live  here I love this place because my favorite school is located here I love my village because it is the most beautiful and wonderful place in the world.

Our summer holidays are coming. It’s our favourite time and I hope to see you and your family in our beautiful ancient town Vladimir.

My town can be called one of the pearls in the tourist route «The Golden Ring of Russia».

My town has wonderful history and I would like to tell you about it.

          I live in Kovrov. It is a small town. Kovrov  has about 150 thousand inhabitants. My town

is on the Klyazma.  The Klyazma is a beautiful river. It falls into the Volga. Ships don’t go

along the Klyazma. There are forests, fields, villages and lakes near our town. The Lake Perehanovo

is a favourite place of our inhabitants in the countryside .

Kovrov is a green town. There are many trees and flowers in the streets. My town has

many interesting and wonderful places. There are parks, squares, museums, monuments and

others. Degtyarev’spark is a very popular place of rest, which many people like. It is clean and

comfortable. There are many trees, paths and benches.

I am Max Gavrilov. I am 10 years old. I want to tell you a few words about my family.

I think that a family is a very important for everybody. A family is the people that always love you, support you and help you. It is impossible for me to live without my family. My family is not large. I have got a mother, a father and a sister . There are four of us in the family. We also have grandparents and a lot of relatives: uncles, aunts, cousins. I live with my mum, dad and my sister. We have a small flat. There are three beds, computer on the desk, a lot of books on the shelf, a wardrobe and sofa.

All people have their own Motherland. It is a place where I was born. I was born in the village

of Okatovo. It is a wonderful place. Here my parents and my friends live. My native village

began in the eighteenth century when people began to settle from one place to other. People

who live in the village of Okatovo; they are hardworking, polite and kind. The people of my village are very hospitable, they are glad to meet the guests.

My name is Eugenia . I am 17. I   live in the village of Kolp. My village is situated on the river Kolp. My village is big and very nice. There are many streets in my village. The streets are wide

and clean. The streets are nice and beautiful. My village is very good in summer .There are many green trees and nice flowers.

Everybody have the place which is the dearest to him. The place where he would like to return again and again no matter how far he is from it. It does not matter if it is big or small. We call it a birthplace. In my heart there is the only town which I really love. It is Kovrov.

I live in Vladimir. I study in school number 7 in 4«b» class. Our class is good. I have got many friends in my class. We have got good teachers. We often go on excursions.
