You
asked me to describe my birthplace and you also wanted to know if I am
patriotic. So you can find in my letter answers to all your questions and I
also decided to count reasons of my love to Vladimir.
My name is Ksenia. I am ten. I live
in the village of
Necludovo. This small
place is situated between Vladimir
and Gus-Crustalnij. Our region is famous for the Meschera National Park. A lot
of rare birds live in its forests and you can enjoy listening to their singing,
especially in spring. We can study different plants, which grow only in
Meschera. You can visit some museums, the most interesting one is devoted to
Russian old life. You can shoot from the bow there, like in old times. Very funny
bear Maria Potapovna lives there. She likes oranges and pan cakes. You can walk
along ecological paths like in fairy-tales. My favourite festival Maslenitza is
widely celebrated here.
There is a very nice
nature. There was a very rich kolhoswhich was build byA.V.Gorshkov .
Pigs, cows, lambs, horses were grown here. There is a beautiful wood around my
village.
I was born in Vladimir. I love this town, because it is my
home.
I can speak about my town so long, but I am
going to tell you some interesting moments and I will tell you about amazing
places in Vladimir.
I will start with the fact that my town is
about 1022 years. Vladimir is a historical and
old town of Russia.
The prince Vladimir the Red Sun founded it in the 10th century. But there aretwo versionsof the timewhenVladimir wasfounded.
It’s
winter now. Winter is the coldest season of the year but is the most beautiful
for me. Winter is the most suitable time for memories about me and my beloved
birthplace. I have many memories and I would like to share them with you.
The Birthplace. What is it? I can’t say it in one
word. For some people it is the whole country, for others it is the city, the
village – the place where they were born, where they spent their childhood. For
someone the Birthplace is his own flat. But for all people it is the place
where they want to return to.
Adults are
always trying to instill their children the love for homeland. Someone may ask:
"Why should I like the place, where I was born?” I believe that a human should
love his native town and country not for their wealth or fame, but just from
the soil. I can tell you, that I’m proud of my country, because there is
wonderful nature, rich history and great people here. But if it was not so, I
would still love Russia, just because I was born there and have spend 16 years
of my life here.
Each person has his
favourite city or settlement, more often it is the place, where you were born,
where you spent your childhood with which we have the kindest memories. Despite
the age, a person always remembers some moments from his childhood the places
connected with it. This tow, settlement shouldn`t be capital at all, it is
always the best and it arouses a lot of pleasant impressions.
